Paul Lee
Osteopath
Paul graduated in osteopathy from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine, in 1976. He began his career at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, A.T. Still University, in 1985.
In 1990 he became the director of the Osteopathic Services Department at Eastmoreland Hospital in Portland, Oregon. In 1991, he moved to his current location in Durango, Colorado, where he opened a private practice in osteopathic manipulative medicine, nutritional counseling, homotoxicology, acupuncture, and medicine.
In his practice, he employes a system for diagnosis and therapy that he developed. He is a former board member of the American Academy of Osteopathy and a former member of the Louisa Burns Osteopathic Research Committee of the AAO and The Osteopathic Cranial Academy and Osteopathic Cranial Academy Foundation Board of Directors.
In 1989, he received a Recognition of Proficiency in cranial osteopathy from The Osteopathic Cranial Academy.
He has written several papers and participated in many conferences in the United States and Europe. In 2005, Stillness Press published his book, "Interface: Mechanisms of Spirit in Osteopathy," in which he presents a theoretical physiological model of the primary respiratory mechanism and a spiritual foundation for the osteopathic philosophy.
