Susan Turner
Osteopath
Her training was profoundly influenced by Anne Wales, DO (USA), a close friend and direct student of W.G. Sutherland, whose teachings shaped her particular expertise in the Balanced Ligamentous Tension (BLT) approach.
Over the years, she has contributed to the dissemination of this approach through postgraduate courses in numerous countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, the United States, Italy, France and Spain. She is the author of Balanced Ligamentous Tension in Osteopathic Practice.
She was a founding member of the Osteopathic Centre for Children (OCC) in London, where she worked for its first four years, and since 2012 has taught on the OCC Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy in Italy.
She is an Honorary Member and Founding Fellow of the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy (SCCO), where she has taught since 1992, having begun teaching cranial osteopathy in 1986 at the British School of Osteopathy.
She also taught at the European School of Osteopathy for 26 years.
