Luca is head of the Operational Unit of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the IRCCS, Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi, and associate professor of Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy at the University of Milan. His specific field of interest is musculoskeletal radiology, with particular attention in Diagnostic and Interventional Ultrasound. He collaborates with the Euro AIM group, promoted by the European Institute for Biomedical Imaging Research (EIBIR), a subsidiary of the European Society of Radiology (ESR), on evidence-based radiology. He was a member of the Scientific Committee of the European Congress of Radiology (2013-2015), the national congress organized by the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA 2015-2021), and the Public In-formation Advisor Network. He is chairman of the Research Committee (2013-2016) and the Ul-trasound Subcommittee (2016-2018) of the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR), of which he is now secretary general until 2021.
